Director Robert Rodriguez has taken on the 20th Century Fox PREDATOR franchise and creating a newly rebooted "PREDATORS."
We've heard the rumblings that this was coming via B-D, but now it's been confirmed. IESB has also confirmed it will be Rodriguez' own take on the original concept and he is in fact not only producing the reboot, he's also directing it.
In a news conference today at Troublemaker Studios, several Texas state politicians were in attendance to sign HB 873, the long-awaited reform of the Texas film incentive program.
Rodriguez talked to the audience of press members and revealed his upcoming film slate.
"I'm going to be able to shoot my upcoming Machete here, a sci-fi action film called Nervewrackers, a re-boot of the Predator series called Predators, and a couple of smaller movies called Sin City 2 and The Jetsons."

More proof there are no original ideas in Hollywood. Get rid of the remakes and adaptations, and, all last year, we had Wall-E.

Watch them get Vin Diesel to take Arnold's place, then after mild success on straight to DVD, they reboot Alien starring Lindsey Lohan.
The Jetsons movie was a joke, right? The only good news is that they have to be running out of cartoons on which to base live action movies. Really, what's left...Blue Falcon, Space Ghost, Thundarr the Barbarian, & Thunder Cats?

No joke, if they did a Space Ghost movie the same way they did the 1990s series, using the same stock animation, characters, voice actors, and mix of live action and animation, I would be first in line for that shit.
Best episode ever. Especially Space Ghost's reaction to the letter from "Jacy and his Pop" and "Baloney Sandwich."

i loved SGCTC... my first ever exposure to it was at the end of the VHS for 'The Mask' - he interviewed cast and crew, it was hysterical.

New animation I can understand. It is cartoon to live-action transition that usually doesn't work.
