Was looking at a preview of something from Marvel and noticed that the first line is all the standard stuff: writer, artist, colorist, letterer. It was the second line that boggled my mind:
Editor
Consulting Editor
Editor-in-Chief
Publisher
Executive Producer
What the hell does an executive producer do on a comic?
And, since I assume there's still an "assistant editor" who's not listed, isn't that a fuckload of higher-ups, without even getting to the corporate level?
Executive Producer? Did I miss something?
