Home Depot has a Animatronic Darth Vader and Stormtrooper that can be used for both Halloween and Christmas for $300. They only had Vader set up. My wife said he looked a bit thin.

I wandered into a Game Stop today. There was a Vintage Collection Mandolorian Naboo fighter for $130. Rebelscum's archive says the TPM Naboo fighter in 1999 retailed for $30. Right now on ebay, it is going for $50-60.

According to an online inflation calculator, $30 in 1999 is about $57 today.

I think I bought a few of those for $10 each at a K-B Toys clearance sale one time. They are somewhere in my basement…I think.

Hasbro's prices have increased at far more than the rate of inflation, even accounting for tariffs, and the selection and overall quality have gone down. I think the newest TVC figures that were announced were going to presale at $19.99-$22.99. Those fuckers should be $12, tops.

Went to WM this morning to pick up a prescription and buy the Superman BluRay. Dawdled down the toy aisle to see what’s what.

ALL their Black Series SW figures are on clearance. Figures that are normally $30 were $7.50. Granted, they have a gloriously shitty selection of unwanted toys. Probably less than two dozen figures from Acolyte, Andor Season 1 etc. But, hey, maybe somebody will finally buy that RoTJ General Calrissian figure that’s been pegwarming for I shit you not EIGHT FUCKING YEARS.

Anyway, for $7.50, I bought a Mines of Mandalore Mando figure. This is the way.
